Bought it online and was very excited when it came in....until I put in batteries and nothing happened. Yes, I had the batteries in the right way, but like some of the other reviews stated it just didn't work. I honestly don't have the patience to try and order it again, so I just returned it. Would have been a great product if it actually worked
When we turned it on it wouldn't even work, then it finally came on out of no where, but it still wouldn't work on the voice activation setting. It still won't work most of the time. The womb sounds are so low you can barely hear them! This is a horrible product and I will be returning it and buying something better! Save your money!
Came in defective. Wouldnt start at all. I saw it takes 4 AA bat ... That would be awesome, if it worked. I'm going to try again, but the store said this item comes in broken often?
This is the least expensive of all the gadgets my tech son has watching over and comforting his first child. It does the job it says it will do! The womb sounds are very soothing and calm their little one right down... unless there really is an underlying 'problem' that needs to be addressed.
night time should be quiet, don't talk when taking care of baby during night/sleeping time. no light. there needs to be a differentiation between day & night.light during day, and sounds. night is quiet as possible & no lights. if any light it should be dim blue and not in baby's face.
It broke while I was trying to attach it to the crib. This thing is super cheap. I would be really worried about using it on a crib, it seems like if I could break it so easily a baby could too. It would probably work well just as a stand along soother though.
I was not entirely pleased with the light that I got. I bought it to just light up the crib at night, but it doesn't just do one color. It changes colors. And I was just looking for a light. i got more than i thought, but not eactly what I was looking for.
I loved this light/sound machine. We used it for up to 9 months and it did its job by soothing my son when he cried. I loved how it automatically turned on when he cried. I had no problems with the sound -- it was loud enough for my baby and my dogs never set it off with their barking as some reviewers had indicated with thier experience. I swore by it and even took it with us when we traveled. I am a big fan of this gadget and I now religously buy one for my friends who are about to become par
ents as a shower gift. True it is a battery hog, but on average I would change the batteries once every month, and that accounts for using it every single night, but turning it off during the day.
This is a great idea!! My son loves it. I have it set so when he cries it comes on and it usually puts him right back to sleep!! I wish I would have had one for my first son!!
